SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualifications
Applicants should have a minimum Master degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical sciences or other relevant majors; with sufficient experience in molecular microbiology.
Person specification
– Having at least three year hand-on experiences in related research activities in molecular microbiology including:
o Develop research protocol
o Implement research project
o Write research report and preparing manuscripts for research publication
– Understanding of epidemiology and transmission of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance
– Analytical problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, self-initiative, attention to detail
– Ability to work to tight deadlines and be able to balance work- life
– Team player, being well organized, patient, dedicated, tactful, understanding, disciplined, active in seeking for problem solving approaches and mature
– Keen on self-development and strong interest in career development in science
– Team work and training skill set
– performing project to completion
– IELTS equivalent to 6.5
Preferable: a candidate with
– Publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals
– Experiences in working with research partners in developing countries and government institutions and international research environment
– Experiences in field research acitivities
– Research skills in molecular, microbiology, DNA, protein and ELISA in infectious disease research projects.
