Senior Software Engineer (Java/Backend)

We&039;re looking for a software engineer who is passionate about server side development. As the leading fintech company in Vietnam building the next generation of financial information services, you&039;ll have an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies employing Big Data and Machine Learning. This is a position on our Backend team where you will build robust and scalable micro-services. You will spend your time architecting, designing and implementing core services, processes and technologies that provide high availability, performance, maintainability and scalability.
Responsibilities

Write Unit Tests and documentation
Write high-quality and elegant solutions in Java
Be a mentor to other software engineers
Participate in identifying and refining User Stories

Experience with Elasticsearch is a big plus
5+ years software engineering experience using Java
Basic knowledge of caching (in-memory caching, varnish, nginx,...)
Cloud native experience (GCP, AWS,...)
Experience building REST/JSON based APIs
Good English communication skills
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Strong in computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, programming, problem solving)
Understanding the basic services in a cloud environment is a plus (pub/sub, virtual machines, kubernetes, load balancing,...)
Strong Linux skills (not required)
Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle,..)
Knowledge of CI/CD is a plus
Nice to have experience in big-data or large scale system
Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, Quartz
Experience with NoSQL (Bigtable, Redis is a big plus, MongoDB, Cassandra is a plus)
Microservices architecture is a big plus to have
