This role is full of challenges as you will be working on our legacy web applications while also working on our newer technology web applications. The legacy web applications were written in ASP.NET 1.0 - 2.0. The goal of this role is to aid in the retirement of all legacy based systems as soon as possible and at that time the role will have you being a fully dedicated Angular Developer. We are looking for someone up for the challenge of retiring our old platform.
We require a person with excellent English and Vietnamese verbal and written communication skills. Those skills must complement an ability to simplify complex functional and technical requirements.
Duties and responsibilities
We are looking for a hands-on Web Developer to join our team. The right candidate should have an excellent track record in development and design exceeding timelines and expectations.
InteliSys Aviation Systems, with headquarters in Canada and a local office in Ho Chi Minh City, is an established leader in airline passenger reservation and cargo management software with their ameliaRES and ameliaCARGO products. Design, code, test, debug and document software and business components.
Reading and comprehending functional and technical specifications.
Effectively manage timelines and expectations.
Write clear, concise, and well documented code.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and availability.
Collaborating with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, and other Developers to ensure that best practices and all established processes are followed when implementing solutions.
Strong focus on creating amazing user experiences.
‘Digging in’ to investigate bugs and to offer solutions.
Following a rigorous software development process to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Skills and experience

Deep understanding of how to optimize Angular application for iOS and Android, including offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Experience with the following libraries/technologies is a strongly desired: Redux, Reactive programming, Bootstrap, Docker, BitBucket pipelines, responsive design, MongoDB, public clouds (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.), DevOps, Agile Development, continuous integration
Experience working on at least two high-volume production systems.
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Software/Computer Engineering.
At least 2-3 year of hands on experience with the very old releases 1.0 - 2.0 of ASP.NET
At least 2-3 year of hands on experience with Angular applications. Your Angular knowledge should be current. In other words, you should be familiar with Angular up to version 10 or 11.
