SMT Engineer (Off Saturday and Sunday, Shuttle Bus)

Responsible for Factory Operation technical development to support manufacturing and design challenges which include PCBA assembly layout design development and consolidation, technical team resources hiring and training, continue technology upgrade Equipment and Manufacturing Technology as and when required.
• Review drawing from customer and feedback and modify if needed.
• Responsible for equipment&039;s selection, evaluation and recommendation for PCBA and product assembly processes, and other accessories equipment associated to product and component inspection, rework, reconditioning and packaging.
• Responsible for development of PCBA and product manufacturing methodology, rework requirement, chemistry and indirect material selection, evaluation, and recommendation.
• Work with Tool, JIG fixture supplier to design these items for Production.
Product Management
• Responsible for Product labels, Packaging design and Qualification
• Responsible for Product Assembly Quality such as assembly and test Yields Improvement and initiate continuous improvement project, driving to meet overall customer expectation in terms of cost, quality and delivery requirement.
• Responsible for Overall Assembly Equipment&039;s Maintenance and Calibration requirement in accordance to factory defined Preventive Maintenance and calibration program.
• Responsible for PCBA and Product safety handling which include WIP transportation and storage design requirement, in addition to manufacturing waste handling, recycle and disposal program.
• Responsible for defining Product Process Flow and relevant product assembly instruction development which include generic processes, product specific and equipments set up, operating and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Line layout config and design if have any new product

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Using related engineering software (CAM, CAD...) to review the engineering drawing
- Capable to read and understanding the Engineering Drawing (Assembly, Mechanical Part…)
- Understanding Hardness cable assembly
- Understanding about IE (Industrial Engineering)
- Capable to read and understanding the Electronic Bill of Material (BOM)
- Understanding about SMT process, PTH, AI processes, backend, and Assembly box build.
Language:
- English communication skills
Computer:
- Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Email using skill
Program/Project Management

- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI)
