Software Dev (JavaScript/AngularJS/Java)

We are looking for a Software Developer to build and implement functional programs. You will work with other Developers, Development Managers and Business Analysts throughout the software development life cycle, generally responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects.

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, C#, .NET, C, Sybase and Oracle), we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:

• Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
• Testing and evaluating new programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Determining operational practicality
• Developing quality assurance procedures
• Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
• Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
• Attention to detail
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Able to converse in English fluently
