Software Engineer

Executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a leading management consulting company. Our highly respected and innovative client is seeking an information technology (IT) professional with at least two years’ experience in building software system for the job of Software Engineer. The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Job Summary:

The Software Engineer is a technical savvy, switched on and a great problem solver. He/She will work closely with teams in building software systems which includes researching, designing, coding, testing and deployment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Study, analyze, design and participate in development, implementation, delivery and maintenance of the systems.

• Developing tools to improve the workflow.

• Analyze to translate business needs into system with continuous system enhancement.

• Support on technical issues.

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• At least 8+ years of experience in technology or financial/management consulting company.

• Technical skills: Python, UNIX/Linux (must)

• Significant demonstrable knowledge and experience in designing and constructing scalable software as services. 

• Accustomed to container technology (docker, kubernetes), micro-services, big data processing (spark, kafka, hdfs). 

• Provide a high level of ability in problem solving and judgement with strong attention to details. 

• Responsible for work, able to work independently as well as teamwork

• Fluent in English (8/10)
