In addition, we’ve doubled our manufacturer vendor capacity last year and are about to double again. Where our manufacturing started in Vietnam, and we’re expanding throughout Asia, and adding additional capacity in Mexico with our growth and product line expansion.

We are a direct to consumer brand, with a head office in Canada and warehouse locations across the Americas. We also have an office in Ho Chi Minh city that works closely with our vendors and has teams that are focused on Product, Sourcing and Quality. As we continue rapidly growing we’re now on the hunt for talented, enthusiastic team members to join us.
We’re looking for a Sourcing Director for the Asia region to lead our amazing sourcing team. You will be defining and executing the sourcing strategy, and developing and managing vendors to achieve sourcing goals.
- Pursue a strategy that diversifies global risks that accounts for geopolitical, vendor performance, international supply chain, and ocean transportation risks.
- Support our model to capture product costs, data, and drawings to support product engineering.
- Develop new markets for furniture sourcing that pave the way for the next phase of vendor and country diversification.
- Develop and mentor a fast-growing team that supports Sourcing Operations, Quality Assurance, Global Sourcing Offices, Packaging, Costing and Product Engineering.
- Drive continuous improvements initiatives to improve vendor performance.
- Relentlessly strive for fair and competitive prices with vendors that support Article’s long term business strategy.
- Work collaboratively with vendors, planning team, and design and product teams to ensure future material and product needs are met.
- Ensure Article’s growth plans are supported and capacity is secured.
