Sourcing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conducting market research to identify new products, suppliers, and trends.
Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and sourcing activities.
Managing supplier relationships, ensuring on- time delivery, quality control, and cost effectiveness.
Review and assess total supply chain risk and identify opportunities to minimize and eliminate risk
Developing and maintaining a supplier database and managing the supplier selection process
Participating in budget planning and cost reduction initiatives.
Developing and managing the procurement standard, policies, strategy in order to ensure process transparency, fairness, impartiality, and confidentiality.
Managing a team of sourcing professionals and providing leadership, coaching, and development opportunities.
Tracking and reporting supplier performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with the company&039;s goals and objectives.
Identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and negotiating contracts and agreements.
Working with cross- functional teams to understand their needs and requirements for materials and services.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing at electronics companies.
Education: bachelor&039;s degree or master’s degree in supply chain or related field.

Others:

Strong understanding of the market and industry trends.
Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions.
Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements, managing supplier relationships, and working with international suppliers.
Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
Team management skill.
