Sourcing Specialist

- Drive innovation and technology roadmap together with suppliers and other internal stakeholders.
- Identify supply risk and proactively develop contingency plans.
- Perform ad hoc assignment by management
- Monitor market trends and proactively drive actions for maintaining a sustainable supply base.
- Analysis and share with the management on a regular basis the updated market information and price trend;
- Responsible for formulating commodity strategy including but not limited to annual cost optimization strategy, spend allocation strategy, and supply base optimization
- Provide quick response and implement effective plans and solutions to meet the emerging needs
- Formulate and execute the contract management and policy, and effectively negotiate prices
- Networking with target suppliers, and industry practitioners
- Monitor the vendor’s performance to ensure the fulfilment of safety, quality, pricing, delivery schedules, commercial terms, and other requirements. Develop and maintain the long term partnership with vendors, manage vendor selection and evaluation, and improvement initiatives;

- Over 8 years of commodity management, development of material supplier/ sub-contractor, and project management experience preferably gained from multinational or sizeable manufacturing companies.
- Solid experience in material sourcing of Printing/ Paper Products/ Toys & Gifts Industry would be an advantage;
- Diploma or above in Procurement, Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines;
- Global sourcing experience and strong experience in managing China vendors
Strong people management skills and influencing skills;
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager/ Manager.
- Good command of written and spoken English, and Chinese/ Mandarin;
- Result-oriented, team player
- Meticulous and data-driven.
