Sourcing Specialist (Temporary 6 Months)

Under the guidance of the GWS Sourcing Manager, co-ordinate the implementation of Supply Chain Strategy with Operations accounts. This includes promoting the use of Preferred Suppliers, ensuring adherence to Building Efficiency “integrity” and generating savings across GWS services lines.
5 Actively support the GWS Sourcing Manager and the Account Leads in identification and reporting of savings and ownership and reporting of specific Sourcing initiatives.
6 Support the central GWS Sourcing Team in developing central initiatives, undertaken central GWS projects as and when required, undertake Sourcing training and sharing best practice.
3 In conjunction with the GWS Sourcing Manager, develop Sourcing Plans with Ops Accounts, undertake tenders for service lines in line with the Sourcing Plans. Manage risk and supply chain cost.
2 Promote the use of Preferred Suppliers (in order to reduce supplier base and leverage spend) and develop Specification and Contract Particulars for key contracts.
4 Work closely with operations on the accounts with regards to Sourcing. Promote compliance and process. Also, act as a point of escalation for supplier issues for the accounts.
Ensure all contractual obligations are met to the client satisfaction and in compliance with GWS Sourcing processes and objectives.
TEMPORARY 6 MONTHS
Ownership and Management of selected central Preferred Suppliers. This involves quarterly reviews and management of these suppliers in the Supplier Database.

• Degree preferable
• Good systems and procurement process understanding,
• Good at English
• Ability to work flexibly with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills,
• Ideally, at least 3 years experience within a Sourcing Function.
