Sr .NET Web Developer (C#, JavaScript)

Lane Home Furnishings is looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our websites and support of internal data applications. Web Developer responsibilities include working with our web team to build applications to support business needs.
Responsibilities

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Create and maintain software documentation
Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Cooperate with web designers and marketing team to match visual design intent
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site

Other Requirements: Proficiency in English is required
Education: Information Technology related degree with emphasis on programming or equal job experience required. BS in computer science or a related field or related experience necessary.
Experience required: 3 years minimum
Requirements and Skills

Proven working experience in web programming
Familiarity with at some of the following programming languages is a must: db2, ASP.NET, JavaScript, C-Sharp, Umbraco
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
Familiarity with
SQL
is required
creating views, functions and stored procedures;
writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications;
maintaining data quality and overseeing database security.
creating database triggers for use in automation;
Designing database tables and structures;
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Basic knowledge of search engine optimization process
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
