Sr. R&D Engineer (AI, ML, Python, C++)

We are expert in real time image and video segmentation; background subtraction & blurring; user extraction and user's component detection; 3D volume reconstruction and will not be limit to this list.

As a Personify Research Engineer R&D, you will contribute to the development and improvement of our core algorithms / SDKs. Those core algorithms / SDKs will be used in existing products, such as ChromaCam (www.chromacam.me) and Presenter (www.personifyinc.com) and ConX apps (www.conxme.com) and beyond to provide better and more personal way for people to interact with each other using video which serving 250,000 users worldwide and counting!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Analyze and formulate industrial needs into solvable problems and solve them.

•  Research, invent and improve patentable algorithms in our cutting-edge research projects.

•  Convert research ideas into high-quality production code.

•  For leader/head role:

    ► Getting requirement from project manager analyze feedback from customers & QC team to convert into tasks plan to improve the algorithms and R&D projects.

    ► Plan tasks and distribute problems to other team members.

    ► Grow the team and make it a solid group and best in R&D domain in Vietnam!

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Bachelor's degree, 5 years experience. MS or PhD degree is a strong plus.

•  Ability to lead a team and being familiar with Agile methodology is a plus.

•  Passion in doing research.

•  Excellent in troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills.

•  Good experience in end-to-end quality software development process

•  Fluent in practical English.

•  Good team player and quick learner.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Solid in Image/Video processing and Computer Vision.

    --and/or--

        •  Solid in Machine Learning or Deep Learning (AI)

•  Solid with C++/C++11 STL, boost, opencv, cmake, OOP and software design patterns.

•  Strong in algorithm.

•  Ability to understand and implement scientific papers

•  GPU parallel programming is a plus.

•  Familiar with Python and/or Matlab is a plus.

•  Experienced in code optimizations, design of large software, multi-threading and asynchronous concepts, cross platform development is a plus.
