JOB SUMMARY

Subordinate: Strategy Manager, Strategy Executive
Working Time: 9:00 – 18:00, Monday – Friday
Hiring Purpose: Replacement
Report Line: BOD
Peer: Account Director / Media Director / Creative Director
Working Location: 6th Floor, Tuong Viet Building, 95 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, HCMC, Vietnam

OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a Strategic Planning Director who has a passion for developing brand and communications strategies, strong business acumen, passion for developing total marketing solutions to impact deeply Brand Performance in general. You will be an important piece of the puzzle to our Strategy team, together with driving outstanding business results for PMAX.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop communication approach/plan
Join in research and development of better solutions and services for the company
In charge of collecting data and analyzing, getting the right and digging down consumers’ insights
Build strategy team, including team members, system, process, frameworks, methodology, knowledge library
Consult with clients and build long term relationships/partnership
Develop PMax’s internal strategy
Develop overall strategic direction for the proposal
Present to clients and sell the service
Develop and package strategy solutions/services to sell to clients
Coordinate with Creative/Media/Account to detail out proposal details, media plan (budget KPIs …)
Push strategy as a business line, i.e. push sales revenue and be responsible for P&L
Write creative brief and propose creative directions to creative team

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a senior Planning role within an integrated marketing communications (IMC) agency or research agency is a big plus.
Good knowledge of the media and how strategic planning influences it
More than 4 years of experience, having a research background with excellent problem solving capability; or strategic planning background with strong advertising/creative/IMC expertise.
Comprehensive understanding of the changing media landscape and new digital engagement techniques
A solid background in developing brand and communications strategies across a variety of client sectors and marketing channels both on and offline
Understanding business and marketing strategy is a big plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving capability
A strong understanding of core best practice strategic planning skills and tools
Track record of building team(s) and people
