Structural Engineer

- Directly implement Material Take-Off (MTO), or review MTO implementation serving for the project operation; and responsible for the accuracy of MTO.
- Directly complete calculation and engineering documents; or review and responsible for the accuracy of engineering documents.
- Research and enhance technical renovation/initiatives and other safe, effective engineering and construction methods.
- Responsible for the safety, the quality, the schedule and the effectiveness of the assigned tasks to Lead Structural Engineer and Project Construction Manager.
- Directly implement Site Technical Query (STQ) or review STQ implementation when there is any problem in the Construction discipline.
Contribute all aspects relating to structure design in the project. Obligations include but not limited to following tasks:
- Manage the equipment usage in the project.
- Assist and coordinate with Procurement discipline of the project during the process of purchasing material, equipments and services for the structural design and construction of the project (Assist Procurement Discipline in evaluating and reviewing documents provided by service and equipment vendors, in terms of technical issues, so as to ensure these documents are in accordance with the design.
- Coordinate with subcontractors / service and equipment vendors in solving matters relating to structural design.
- Manage and supervise personnel assigned to the team; coordinate the team work to ensure the quality, the effectiveness and the schedule.
- Responsible for reviewing documents and drawings of the team; responsible for cross check with other disciplines during engineering process.
- Responsible for technical solutions during the process of designing structure of construction or responsible for changing design during construction implementation.
- Responsible for responding complaints of clients and satisfying clients, in terms of matters of structure.
- Master the scope of work, specifications and requirements of the contract and the project schedule.
- Responsible for the usage worth of the project’s engineering.

- Coordinate with other engineering teams of the project, such as Electricity Control Team, Piping Team, Skid Team and PDMS Team) to solve any problems of the team.
- During the design process, responsible for mistakes, which cause negative effects on the schedule, the quality and the cost of the project.
- Assist and coordinate with Planning discipline in making and control designing plans of the project.
- Responsible for calculating lifting and Load-out of the project.
- Coordinate with Construction disciplines in issuing drawings and documents for construction; requests for innovation and changes in engineering from Construction team; and in completing the final drawings of structure.

- Word, Excel, Outlook Express, Autocad.
- Master structural calculation software like SAP2000...
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree major in Naval architecture and Offshore Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering.
- English fluent in use (Equivalent 550 TOEIC).
- Have the understanding of Vietnamese and international standards and regulations of construction design and implementation.
