Structural Engineer (Fresher)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Perform additional tasks as per requests by the team leader
- You will be trained about Simpson structure components and internal design software.
- Provide engineering services related to Simpson Strong-Tie wood structures for customers mostly located in North America
- Conduct the whole process of Wood Truss design under the supervision and support from senior members in your team

If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
- Ability to respect tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Acquire windows-based computer skills (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD
- Be familiar with using wood truss design software (Mitek’s, ITW,…) is a great advantage
- Be able to work independently as well as be a team-player
- Good organizational skill with sense of carefulness is highly required
- Bachelor Degree with major of Civil Engineering or in other relevant majorities related to Construction
- English skills: Fairly good command in English (Reading and Writing), or equivalent to TOEIC 550. Comprehend construction documents including architectural and engineering drawings
- Welcome fresher/entry/ non-experienced level. Less than 1-2 years of experience, especially in wood truss design is an asset
