Supervisor, Land Distribution

Transportation Operations
· Guide and support all functions for all related distribution matter
· Manage and ensure that distribution operations are being delivered in accordance to the SOP and stipulated KPIs
· Ensure that the team will achieve a high-level of KPI and operation standard
· Ensure compliance with country subcontractor management policies and procedures.
· Ensure that billing is completed accurately and timely and P&L is managed accurately
· Analyze breaches/irregularities, coordinate corrective actions with other functions (e.g. Products or Legal) and the BUs and take the lead for critical breaches (e.g. withdrawal of business critical licenses).
· Perform internal reviews of adherence to country standards as well as customer SOPs with regards to distribution activities
Subcontractor Management
· Work with suppliers to improve their service if KPIs are not being met
· Ensure that the KPIs are being achieved by the subcontractors
Process Improvement
· Contribute to defining and optimizing productivity and efficiency parameters and workflow processes.
KPI Management
· Ensure the service delivery of the Schenker team as well as the subcontractors
HSSE
· Conduct audits together with HSSE team
· Understand the HSSE policy of the company
· Ensure that HSSE guidance is followed by subcontractors & staff
· Ensure staff adhere to HSSE guidelines and provide guidance during new implementations
· Rectify near misses and report near misses to HSSE

Skills Required
· Keen eye for process improvement
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written (English); fluency in other Asian languages a plus
· Team player with a good working attitude and the ability to learn quickly
· Good mix of business and systems knowledge
· Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience and Qualifications
· Experience in transport management systems implementation especially BluJay LSP TMS a big plus
· University degree in Logistics operation/Logistics engineering
· 3-5 years distribution-related operations
