Supplier Acquisition Specialist (Chinese Speaking)

This role will appeal to dynamic individuals who enjoy solving strategic operational issues in a fast-growing Cross-border eCommerce company. You will be in-charge of developing and executing tactical strategies to partner with product suppliers.
Supplier Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting new Suppliers to scale up in line with the category management growth. The key responsibilities are to:
Work and align with team to plan product line development in terms of new suppliers growth and development, suppliers incubation plan and implementation
Drive inflow through offline events and partnerships
Gain the supplier’s trust through the knowledge about them
Incubate top suppliers
Ensure a smooth and easy supplier sign-up through efficient processes and technology
Identify supplier insight to build up their most wanted platform
Hunt and acquire potential suppliers that contribute to company product line
Develop suppliers base and their assortment, including supporting supplier to establish e-commerce shops on the company’s system; and verifying supplier’s identity
Leverage online and offline channels to drive interest of SMEs/ trading companies to provide quality products to the company’s system
Provide for channel to acquire suppliers.
Increase presence of Crossian in suppliers community
Acquire suppliers from different platforms
Build up the best experience onboarding process.
Identify suppliers from competing platforms
Contact these suppliers and scrape them shops if they agree to

Good understanding about supplier’s network
Positive personality, with a &039;can-do&039; attitude
Ready for business travel
Have an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work independently and effectively
Proficient in written and communication with both Chinese and English
Previous experience within, or a demonstrable affinity for the Cross-border eCommerce or Supply chain is a plus
