Supplier Quality Manager

***JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring material quality to meet customer requirement & support supplier to do preventive action (8D/FAR), ask supplier to continuous improvements to meet GES standards to reduce quality costs. Recruit, train, manage & evaluate/appraisal SQE Team that meets QA objectives.
***ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Initial/periodic qualify supplier’s quality management system
- Send self-assessment form.
- Onsite audit.
- Observe supplier to do corrective action, inform to SCM stop place any order until vendor has done the corrective action accordingly.
2.Monitor supplier quality, update supplier’s ranking monthly.
- Collect data of incoming inspection monthly, make monthly supplier quality report for related department.
- Update supplier’s ranking
- According to monthly supplier quality report, send CAR or 8D request to supplier to implement report & get improvement process.
- Work with SCM team to adjust amount of locating parts (place order) or stop order until vendor implement accordingly.
3.Analysis and periodically reporting to Management regarding Incoming or line issues related to materials with analysis and driving improvements and prevention of recurrences.
4.Monitor corrective action from supplier (CAR & 8D)
- Consider the affective of defect, ask supplier for SCAR or 8D.
- Work with supplier to resolve defect that we found at incoming & IP-E & IP-M
5.Process NDA/ARPA with supplier before SCM send to supplier any information of project.
6.Lock the production process of critical parts before coming to MP.
- After qualify supplier via proto critical sample (OK), work with supplier to lock the best production.
- Review/implement calibration for necessary measuring tools to meet part tolerance requirement.
7.Support & coordinate with supplier to build first article process (FAI), make sure supplier understand right all our requirement (Tolerance, unclear dimension, methods, check sheet.).
8.Support other QA group in research and resolve issues occurred.
9.Assure the quality of material come to GES with best quality.
10.Recruit, train, manage & evaluate/appraisal SQE Team that meets QA objectives
11.Set objectives/KPIs of SQE Team & report status.
12.Report by weekly, monthly to monitor the completion of tasks on time & ensure good performance of SQE Team
13.Representative for SQE Team to participate in all meetings with relevant departments and QA Director to receive new assignments fully.

- Over 05 years work in same job or quality department
- ISO 9001_auditor level
- English_communication well
