Surveillance Technical Manager

Ensure that inventory of equipment and spare is sufficient for business needs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Surveillance.
Project and manage CCTV/Surveillance system updates and installations and changes.
Manage and motivate the technical team, coach, counsel and discipline as required.
Manage and allocate the Surveillance technical budget.
Ensure that the CCTV/Surveillance and associated systems are maintained to the highest levels of proficiency.
Ensure a proactive and positive approach to maintain and enhance the system and associated areas.
Manage all aspects of the system and technical issues relating to the CCTV/Surveillance system.
Be effective in communicating with all stakeholders (Surveillance, Security, IT, Facilities Management, contractors and vendors) – participate and when required manage interdepartmental meetings including minutes and action plans.
Assess the team’s technical and job knowledge – implement training and assessing and continued on the job learning/training for the team.
Prepare daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors (SI’s, suppliers and other product vendors).
Allocate and roster manpower to ensure business requirements is met.
Establish and maintain a strong knowledge of product available in the market.
Ensure compliance with Baseline Casino CCTV/Surveillance standards.
Establish and maintain working relationships with counterparts at other casino properties.
Be responsible for interviewing and hiring of Surveillance technical team members.

Bachelor’s Degree/Certification/Diplomas in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and IT Computer Hardware and Software.
Surveillance CCTV system technical experience. Experience / certification on the Dallmeier product and associated systems preferred. Supervisory / management experience in casino surveillance technical operations. Previous experience with digital/IP (virtual or hybrid systems) 1000+ camera system.
Good level of English speaking, reading and writing.
Detail oriented and able to work independently.
Maintain a good workspace employee relation in the way of respectful and harmony.
Knowledge of application of project supervision, software such as MS operating systems, SQL server, MS server, AutoCAD and basic networking.
Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange and Outlook.
