Systems Administrator (Network Security)

We are looking for an experienced
Systems Administrator/ Network Security
who plan, implement, oversee and maintain server and network infrastructures and projects. The job duties and responsibilities detailed below:

Define and document best practices and support procedures
Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
Administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, F5, AWS, Azure, and VMware technologies
Proactively manage and maintain server, network, and firewall systems
Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices and firewalls.
Carry out special tasks at Management&039;s direction
Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations
Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies
Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
In charge of level 2 support based on customer&039;s environment. Resolve the tickets from the ticket system, and ensure SLA and Priority and work with rotation plan

To be successful in this role you must have some of the following:

Azure, /AWS/Google Cloud Platform
Rotation working plan (support Global infrastructure)
Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server
Managing deployments/rollouts
Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VPN, VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)
Linux/UNIX administration
A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking (Juniper, F5,..)
Strong communication and documentation skills
At least 3 years working experience in an IT Administrator role
Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server /desktop Operating Systems
Fluency in oral and written English imperative (particularly written)

Nice to have:

Cisco Certified Network Associate
Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate
Group Policy design and configuration
Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
Experience or knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Mesos) and Cloud
Mastery of Icinga, Grafana, Graphite, Gitlab (or GitHub) tools
Must be organized and can manage projects of varying length
Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
AWS solution architect associate
Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
Experience in production line automation technologies and techniques software (CI /CD)
Experience of Mesos / Marathon or container technologies (Kubernetes)
