Systems Administrator (Network Security)

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator/ Network Security who plan, implement, oversee and maintain server and network infrastructures and projects. The job duties and responsibilities detailed below:

• Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices and firewalls.


• Proactively manage and maintain server, network, and firewall systems


• Administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, F5, AWS, Azure, and VMware technologies


• Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans


• Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment


• Define and document best practices and support procedures


• Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance


• Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation


• Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations


• Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies


• Carry out special tasks at Management's direction


• Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.


• In charge of level 2 support based on customer's environment. Resolve the tickets from the ticket system, and ensure SLA and Priority and work with rotation plan

To be successful in this role you must have some of the following:

• Fluency in oral and written English imperative (particularly written)


• At least 3 years working experience in an IT Administrator role


• Rotation working plan (support Global infrastructure)


• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server /desktop Operating Systems


• Managing deployments/rollouts


• Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server


• A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking (Juniper, F5,..)


• Linux/UNIX administration


• Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration


• Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VPN, VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)


• Azure, /AWS/Google Cloud Platform


• Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.


• Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate


• AWS solution architect associate


• Cisco Certified Network Associate


• Group Policy design and configuration


• Mastery of Icinga, Grafana, Graphite, Gitlab (or GitHub) tools


• Experience of Mesos / Marathon or container technologies (Kubernetes)


• Experience in production line automation technologies and techniques software (CI /CD)


• Experience or knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Mesos) and Cloud


• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment


• Must be organized and can manage projects of varying length


• 
  Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
