Tech Event Manager

***OBJECTIVES
1. Quickly understand TechTrain’s brand messaging to plan all actions around company objectives
2. Build brand awareness through participation in several physical event channels
Events // fairs // exhibitions // school events // co-branding opportunities // pro-bono and charitable work // leverage sponsorship opportunities and other co-branding opportunities
3. Be deeply familiar with events calendar, venues and network, Soc Med Groups
4. Positively represent the brand 24/7 with energy and enthusiasm, informed info and, outgoing demeanour, about our courses and outcomes.
*Roles
(i) Event Manager & (ii) Salesperson (same individual)
Management and Planning:
- Provide quarterly calendar to MKT manager for sign off
- Liaison, and planning with hosts
- Execute (with designer and MKT mngr) design printing, all branded decor and merchandise purchased/ordered available in advance
- Adjust nature of activities and message around the style of the event
- Arrange all logistics in and out-bound. Plan staffing, refreshments as required.
- Ensure workshopping is prepared and populated, confirm to MKT manager and ACA manager
Salesperson:
- Proactively search and open constant opportunities either within events or as TT displays
- Speak confidently to parents about the benefits of learning coding, TT course outcomes, course content, logistics (duration, dates, journey)
- Drive Leads and sales. Input max qualified parent contact entries into CRM. Sell where possible (Further “Course Offering” details to be provided and trained**)
- Assess students on the spot and make recommendations for course placement
- Make conversions on-site
+ Place students into scheduled classes via assessment on the spot
+ Track and store all cash transactions following company policy
Workshop Teachers
- Coordinate workshopping by collaborating with Academics, and around strategic company objectives to create exciting short student workshops for each age band (5-8 and 9-15)
- Review and sign off with ACAD mngr
- Pre enroll and conduct on the day.
- Prepare prizes to the best performers
