Role Description
Lead Analyst or Team Lead
with data analysts, data engineers and data stewards to support various data management
Responsibilities
•Prepare technical documentation and deliverables including flow charts, models, and procedures, user guides and reporting
•Coordinate the resolution of data quality gaps by working with the business owners and their respective IT teams
•Participate with projects that involve data integration processes
•Develop control structures to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels
•Establish rules and logic for data matching, data quality and data validation of data across domains
•Work with business partners to gather and understand functional requirements and ensure that all data assets which are subject to the governance processes within the Data office are addressed
•Define test cases, test plan, support test execution and validate test output related to data management
•Establish and improve on current business and technical processes and data flows
•Analyzes business needs to determine technical requirements and identifies impacted areas/systems/processes and evaluates alternative solutions.

Key Skills
Data discovery and analysis
Proven Business analysis skill set requirement definition, business process mapping, problem solving, data analysis
Experience working within an agile development lifecycle
MUST have excellent SQL skills
Domain Expertise
Retail, Housing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Financial Services
Data Management Domains: data governance, data quality management, metadata, data lineage, process improvement
Analytics Experience
Identifies impacted areas/systems/processes and evaluates alternative solutions
Translate business needs into technical requirements
Interview, assess and analyze business needs
Individual Skills
Good understanding of data management data lineage, meta data, data quality, data governance, master data management
Proven ability to drive decisions and execute outcome
Familiar with Agile methodology
Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) influencing skills
Proactive problem solver, eye for detail, process driven
