Technical Lead Java

Guide a team towards self-organization & end-to-end responsibility
Oversee activities ranging from business analysis over development to production operation and incident handling
Coach and lead the cross functional team delivering various customer-facing front-ends and related APIs (loan origination, offer to customer, paperless/signing process websites and web applications)
Work with team and peers to fulfill the company IT strategy
Line manager of IT people in the agile team
Be accountable for a technical part of product (HTML/CSS/React, NodeJS, Java, RDBMS)
Continuously move the team forward personally and technologically

You have previous experience with leading a team (front-end customer-facing websites and back-end APIs)
You have experience as a Full-stack or Backend Developer
You are ready to put your hands on to solve the problem
5+ years in a software development environment preferably involving cross-team dependencies.
You prefer trusting people and empowerment over micro-management
You’re comfortable around people, your domain expertise coexists with your strong ability to negotiate, influence and provide feedback
Attitude of transparency – Desire and aptitude to bring disclosure and to grow trust between the business and IT
Fluent English
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
You have thorough understanding and appreciation for the Agile values and principles
You seek continual improvement - Constantly learning to grow your expertise, yourself, and your team.

Preferable skills:

Continuous integration and continuous delivery tools & techniques knowledge
Microservice architecture with Docker and Kubernetes
Continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and techniques
Microservice architecture with Docker and Kubernetes knowledge development experience (Java, .NET or similar)
Direct experience working in a financial services organization
