Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures Departments follow implemented SOPs and guidelines.
Makes onsite inspection on new facilities and construction sites.
Ensures Departments follow all Manufacturer Manuals and documentation
Checking the quality, efficiency and standard of maintenance work being carried out on the Cable Car systems.
Review the condition of equipment and prepare plans to rectify poor conditions.
Reviews work practices, develop improvements to improve work quality and efficiency and assists with implementing improvements.
Follows the relevant international and Vietnamese regulations / standards for Cable Cars and facilities.
Analyse failures and improve downtime performance.
Role modelling, assessing, coaching and guiding Department Managers and other Team Members. Carrying out training and development of Employees.
Reviews and comments on new designs and construction.
Direct and coordinate with Maintenance Manager in the allocation of personnel and equipment, establishing short-term and long-term work plans.
Reports and works closely with SWH Operations Department.
Follows company regulations and procedures.
Ensuring all reporting requirements are undertaken (daily reports, corrective action / maintenance reports, incident reports, etc).
Works with relevant third parties to perform yearly safety inspections and maintenance tasks / activities.
Develops and implements SOPs, checklists and work processes according to manufacturer manuals.
Staff Support and Improvement
Attend and participate in all operational meetings and report on financial results and operational procedures and outcomes. Discuss all meeting decisions and outcomes to the team.
Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with all stakeholders through open communication channels
Assist key personnel in achievement of tasks
You will also be required to complete other duties requested by management
Contribute ideas and provide support to management to enhance operational and environmental procedures
Required Skills
Analytic mindset
Maintains relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
Ability to develop and implement SOPs, checklists, according to Manufacturer Manuals and industry best-practice.
Stays updated on new technologies
University level mechanical, civil or electrical engineering qualification.
Friendly personality, positive attitude.
Ability to respond to new initiatives, changing conditions and shifting priorities
Demonstrated expertise in a similar role as Engineer in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
Can work under high pressure
Hands-on experience working with Cable Cars, and willingness to be hands-on, working directly on site to direct and supervise the work being carried out by Technicians.
Good skills in Microsoft Office and CAD
Commitment towards great customer service.
Understanding of International Safety standards that apply to Cable Car operations and maintenance. (ASTM, ISO, EN).
Able to develop and implement a plans
Minimum 5 year experience working as Cable Car Engineer, with various different types of ropeway installations.
Excellent leadership, self-management, organisational and decision making skills
Ability to train and coach staff, lead and motivate others to achieve results
Highly organised.
