RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides coaching/supervision for subordinates.
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company;
Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure;
The Pre- Sales Specialist collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision- makers;
Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support;
Supports the commercial and project sales organization by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions;
Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close”;
Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms;
Develops water heating systems projects with the related technical reports, system layout & size, and any other documentation required by local legislation;
Building relationships with Developers, Architects, and Consultants together with Sales
Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing efforts on maximizing the total impact of sales growth and profitability;
Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements;
Provides technical support & training to internal team
Provides professional development and coaching to team member sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and sales skills;
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written English and Vietnamese communication skills;
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated aptitude for problem- solving, and ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach);
Degree in Engineering, preferably with knowledge of water heating systems and energy efficiency;
Success Factors
Must possess 3/5 years’ experience in the water heating sector or similar products with experience in electric storage water heaters, solar systems, heat pumps water heaters, and related technologies preferred in commercial business (B2B);
Knowledge of technical software design (Ex. Autocad, Adobe Illustrator or Solar PV Calculator) is a plus.
Knowledge of the local technical legislation;
Must be result- oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment;
Personal Characteristics
Already has a portfolio of customers in the real estate and construction business, or among developers and architects.
