Technical Writer Manager

Present, MISA is looking for a Technical Writing Manager who will be leading our technical writers
Responsibilities
Identify and resolve issues relating to documentation project schedules, resource availability, documentation structure, documentation design and deliverables.
Help Technical writers refine their work by spot-checking in their user manuals, media articles, product introduction videos…
Stay aware of trends and new tools and technologies in the technical writing industry.
Lead and train a team of Technical Writers, setting the goals, priorities, and vision
Manage multiple competing priorities in support of multiple products and services.
Encourage efficient collaboration by defining processes that align with the rest of the product teams, are consistent and efficient
Create practices that encourage keeping documentation up to date and easily discoverable.

Ability to build relationships and advocate the craft with internal stakeholders.
3 years of technical writing experience.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Written and spoken communication skills.
Experience with workflows and tooling used by engineering, operations, and product teams.
Experience producing user manuals, media articles, product introduction videos…
Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
Self-motivated and robust organizational skills.
