PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- High quality of service should be obtained, ensure safety of the guests at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Should know how to deal in any given situation regarding time management of the guests during and after the activities, especially when problem occurs like time delays, change in weather conditions, incidents, and must know how to explain and handle it.
- Be updated on all company policies and code of conduct by reading and understanding all guidelines issued pertaining to such matters; and performing such duties and functions as specified in the guidelines.
- Greet guests in friendly and helpful manner, by using guest’s name at all times.
- Inform your base from at regular intervals about your current location and the condition of your guest, ensure safety and convenience.
- Have minimum 2 years of experience in tour guiding
- Liaises with Guest assistants and to your immediate superior the bookings of guests before the said activity, time, schedules, places to go, transportation, communication, payments, and departure and arrival time at the resort.
- Ready to perform any outstanding duties required by the Water Sports Manager.
- Have basic skills and training in first aid. Must be physically fit, active, responsible and reliable.
- Must have strong, diplomatic communication skills (Fluent in spoken and written English & Vietnamese)
- Equipped with all knowledge regarding history and cultures of different areas places and places to go. This includes full knowledge about marine conservation and knows the value of it.
- Make sure to prepare all necessary equipment needed before the said activity of the guest like cold towels, water, radio for communication, cellphone in case the guide is out of the resort’s area, first aid kit.
- To ensure all standards of personal grooming and hygiene required by the management is maintained at all times. To protect and maintain confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data.
