1. Main Responsibility:
The Trade Marketing Manager will work in partnership with sales and marketing head to jointly invest the available market development fund and co-op to increase channel sell though. This sell-through is accomplished through managing store, key dealers and distributor promotions (contest, rebates, specials, promotions, etc.), ensuring proper merchandising, ensuring adequate stocking levels and running reseller education, contest, motivation and seeding programs
• Identify and actively search for new sales channel opportunity, i.e. partnership, roadshows and exhibitions
• Plan and execute promotional mechanics for mix-channels including dealers, ecommerce, retailing at showrooms
• Build, manage and organize field team for retail audit: signboard, selling products, sales trend, stock level, pricing, promotion efforts at stores, store display, universal industry counting
• Develops promotional plans and tactical campaigns for assigned retailers and dealers, works with Sales team to gain retailer / dealers approval, and project manages deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget execution
• Work with sales to plan for incentives given to dealers based on corporate strategy
• Work with sales to allocate and come up with a MDF (Market Development Funds) budget
• Budget, propose and supervise all event marketing specific to dealers, i.e. Trade shows
• Ensure that all stores are properly merchandised, trained and, when appropriate, authorized.
• Work with MarComs to ensure production of POS, collateral, educational and merchandising materials appropriate to the dealer needs.
• Propose action items and supervise the reseller support section on the Web site when needed
