Talent Strategy Partner - New Businesses Lead
This position is location agnostic however, preferred location would be Santa Clara/Pleasanton; US.
PURPOSE / CONTRIBUTION / IMPACT
As Talent Strategy Partner - New Businesses Lead, you will be a member of the Strategic Pipelining (SP) Area of Practice (AoP), with global accountabilities and work within the Integrated Workforce Strategy (IWS) chapter.
You will be responsible for creating the talent pipeline strategy across teams, conducting people and capability assessment, leading readiness reviews and identifying talent opportunities. You will collaborate with the business leaders and key partners to ensure we have the right skills, at the right place and the right time.
Additionally, you will actively contribute to the most strategic talent needs to enable the organization's 10 Year Ambitions. You will have a holistic view of internal & external talents, with a primary focus on Talent Pipelining, Talent Management and Talent Strategy Consulting.
On top of your Talent Strategy Partner responsibilities, you will act as a Business Area Lead for New Businesses (rotational role for 2 years). In this role, you have the overall global view of the -New Businesses- business area, to co-create and help drive the network strategies and goals of the strategic pipeline. You will act as the primary point of contact for incoming requests and prioritize resources within the Business Area.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
* You are the primary contact point for requests from People & Culture partners and Business leaders for New Businesses area
* You will have meaningful business and leadership conversations with leaders across the group and will embed yourself as a trusted adviser
* You facilitate work prioritization & distribution and assemble squads or product teams when needed
* You will drive your Business Area team to deliver strategic outcomes; manage dependencies and help remove obstacles that stand between your Business Area team and business success
* You are responsible for the Business Area engagement & capability building
* You contribute to people discussions
* You are an active member of the Strategic Pipelining Enabling Team (rotational basis)
KEY SKILLS / CAPABILITIES / MINDSET & BEHAVIOURS
* You have specific expertise, skills, experience and market knowledge in Digital as a People & Culture expert or as Business Leader in that area
* Your capability in talent identification/ management and your professional experience in P&C, enables you to identify and engage talents in new/ different markets and build a strong, diverse strategic pipeline for the future
* You have a strong understanding of the talent landscape and latest trends to inform business decisions
* You think strategically, systematically and disruptively, you are analytical, can generate insights through various streams of information and work proactively to provide solutions
* You have a strong customer orientation and strong business acumen, can partner successfully with senior stakeholders, build long-term and trustful relationships
* You are strong at communicating & influencing people and have strong coaching and sparring skills
* Your mindset is courageous, flexible and open, not afraid to challenge the status quo and driving or leading processes
* You have strong interpersonal skills combined with matrix leadership abilities
* You have a strong collaborative mindset, can work well in global settings, speaking fluent English, with an openness to different cultural backgrounds and diversity
* You hold a university degree or significant experience gained
