UI-UX Designer (Mobile Apps/Sketch/Figma

● Drive new Fossil Group initiatives – Smartphone App, Wrist Device App – across all brands and platforms for Fossil’s Connected Devices Group (CDG).
● Maintain and enforce UX/UI standards & libraries, Projects, updates and pivots; as well as product content across apps, platforms, and services
● Member of a team of designers to create new experience concepts and user flows for smartwatch, iOS/ Android app and feature updates
● Emphasis on Design System Planning (inVision DSM or Figma TooLabs DSM) and Content Strategy (goo.gle/ux-writing-codelab)
● Create and Author UX/UI wireframes and prototypes, taking them through to execution working closely with Director of UX, Product Managers and Software Engineering teams
● Defend the initial concept design intent through gates of implementation, development and manufacturing (concept, Low-Medium-High Fidelity stages)
● Support user testing studies to identify user needs
Additional supports:
● Research and share new trends in digital product usage, forms, colors and technique
● Concept User Journeys, Wireframe Mock-ups, and aid in creation of design prototypes
● Support Advanced Design & Fossil’s Connected Devices Group (CDG) Innovation Team & emerging technologies with advanced concept design
● Quarterly to yearly travel

Skills:
● Must have Bachelors of Science or Masters Degree in Product Design, User Experience Design, or Industrial Design
● Must have 3-5 Years professional experience in UX or related fields
● Must have Proficient use of Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision Studio and/or Enterprise, Figma
● Attention to detail and commitment to quality
● Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
● Ability to communicate effectively with teams from other disciplines (Engineering, Product Managers, Project Managers, etc)
● Passionate interest several of the following domains: Consumer electronics, technological innovation, entrepreneurship, fashion, lifestyle, science, culture and arts
● Design Reviews in English
Nice to have:
● Able to read / speak Multiple Languages
● Wearables experience (body worn CE devices)
● Consulting and/ or User Research Experience
● Design System Architecture for digital products
