Unity 3D XR Developer

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate will get to join and develop XR (Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality & Virtual Reality) applications for human physiology and medical devices.

Communication issues and challenges to visibility proactively and works towards resolution.
Generate status reports and drive status meeting with customer
Has exposure to latest trends / technologies / tools and upgrades skills proactively
Solution design of system / sub-system development, interfaces, integration and verification strategy
Exposure working with distributed teams to meet the common objective
Technical review expertise and guides team members towards optimal and efficient solution.
Elicit requirements for the system / sub-system working with internal and external stakeholders, has better change control and maintains traceability of requirements in the life cycle
Direct customer interface for technical review, status reporting
Hands-on in development and capable of trouble shooting technical issues
Technical ownership of sub-system complete life cycle development complying to required process standards

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving game standards and development technologies
Familiarity with current SDK and architectural patterns such AR Core, AR Kit, Vuforia,
Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
Familiarity with level design and planning
Good communication skill.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
Translate design specification into functional deliverable and keeping the code scalable and robust
Experience implementing Networking
Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management
Good understanding of 3D math’s/Physics/Data Structure/Design Patterns.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
Oculus, HTC Vive HoloLens is preferred
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Must have experience with AR, VR and MR
Experience with game physics and particle systems
Experience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware
Ability to take decisions and work individually as well as in groups
