• Provide technical analysis help to improve knowledge of nonconforming component, manufacturing, and certification processes.
· Discuss the core reasons of the failures with your supervisor and subject-matter specialists.
• In order to develop understanding of the processes, observe production and analytical processes and communicate directly with operators/engineers.
• Learn customer technology so that you can help customers with quality concerns.
• Conduct analyses utilizing internal or external lab facilities to establish product failure modes.
• Communicate failure analysis results of non-confirming and failed products in a timely manner for process/quality improvement, increased yield, decreased cycle time and cost, and ultimately for customer satisfaction.
• Document results in well-structured, well illustrated FA and technical analysis reports in English, with supervisor assistance for technical communication with external or internal stakeholders.

• At least 2 years of experience in a failure analysis/materials analysis function in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Working knowledge of material investigation and characterization equipment such as optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), metallographic polishing, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometers, and electrical measurements.
• A degree in Materials Engineering (preferentially in Metallic/Ceramic Materials), or Chemical Engineering
Technical drawing comprehension and foundations of material/chemical processes
• Proficient in English.
• Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools proficiency
