To control and improve the performance of energy/water, a W&E Coordinator will perform the following tasks:
- Develop training documents/guides for Managers/Team Leaders/Engineers/Technicians/Operators regarding Energy Management program
- Develop and oversee the implementation plan for short & long-term initiatives, projects and strategies to increase energy efficiency, reduce gas emissions, and minimize unnecessary consumption
- Perform calculation/analysis on the implementation of energy-related cost-saving measures. Calculate the budget, project energy savings, and identify the goals for each project
- Follow work instructions and processes.
- Calculate current energy costs as well as the potential saving of upcoming projects
- Assist Utility Team Leader in calculating/defining the Energy usage target [KPI/LPI – Key Performance Indicator/Local Performance Indicator]
- Maintain a 5S work areas, follow Good Manufacturing Practices, and work safely
- Work with engineering team, project team & consultants in designing, renovating, or implementing new projects to ensure their energy efficiency
- Monitor all energy indicators [Electricity; Steam; Diesel Oil and Water] to identify areas where energy is wasted, or energy efficiency needs to be improved
- Work closely with functional areas to update the Energy KPI/LPI and get owners’ feedback for abnormal/excursion points. The analysis is required to be carried out and all abnormal/excursion points have to be tackled properly with a mitigation plan
- Develop & monitor Energy Implementation budget
- Conduct the energy/water audit/scan for various facilities from offices to functional production areas for energy usage & efficiency
- Coordinate work activities with operators/production team leader in shift to ensure machines operating in standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
- Inspect factory/building with local regulation laws, ensure that they are complied with local law & FrieslandCampina cooperate regulations
- Assist Utility Team Leader in developing Energy Management policy for Plant
- Conduct 1:1 and group training workshops
- Lead air/steam leaking inspections as planned to improve energy/water efficiency
- Do analysis on utilities usage to develop conservation projects
- Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager
- Lead energy/water team and prepare the frequent energy/water consumption report of Plant [weekly; monthly; quarterly] and analyze the energy efficiency of each area
- Report to Plant Manager for all energy/water usage/efficiency highlight and recommendation/proposal
- Be a WCOM Pillar/team member and implement WCOM routes
- Comply strictly safety regulations, related GMP, ISO and HACCP, Foqus activities
- Manage all documentations of energy/water implementation projects includes in project costs; energy saving calculation datasheet; energy saving measurements; etc.
- Review Work Instruction, safety Risk Assessment annually
