Auditing & Follow Up
· Conduct vendor compliance audits in factories and follow up compliance issues
· Conduct Country of Origin, Code of Conduct and environmental audits, etc
· Monitor factories’ progress in corrective actions
· Interface with vendors on enquiries, schedules and reports
· Generate and compile audit reports
· Assist in handling detention issues related to Code of Conduct
Stakeholders Support – Advisory & Training
· Provide compliance advice and support to internal and external customers
· Educate and train factories on compliance standards and requirements
· Interface with internal and external customers on compliance-related requests, enquiries and matters
· Provide compliance guidance to business units in implementation of policies, business decision evaluations, project support, best practice processes and controls
· Develop and deliver local compliance training framework and trainings in coordination with global and local training team ensure constant internal knowledge management in line with changing regulatory requirements through training and communication
Regulatory & Compliance Standard & Information
· Collect information on international trade practices and regulations
· Collect regulatory documents relating to labor ordinance, occupational health and safety and social responsibility, etc
· Monitor local regulatory changes in coordination with relevant SME networks and the local compliance team to ensure local requirements are adhered to and adequately mitigated
· Support to develop, establish, maintain and review compliance policies and guidelines in coordination with the global policy framework and support development of global policies
Compliance Program
· Assist the head of compliance in building and enhancing compliance program
· Support to plan, deliver and monitor delivery of the annual compliance plan in coordination with global and other compliance teams
· Manage the reporting requirements and support effective management of reporting by sourcing relevant management information and intelligence from the compliance team
· Promote and support the compliance program by working with business unit leaders to drive adherence through the definition of effective risk mitigation strategies, and the development, rollout, and maintenance of compliance policies and processes
