Warehouse Shift Supervisor (Thu Duc City)

General Description

The WH supervisor is responsible to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory accuracy, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, transportation, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.

Specific Accountabilities

Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
Ensure all staff are trained adequately, maintain a training record book.
Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation.
Assist in creating SOP, work instructions & other documents as needed.
Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
Conduct operations in a manner to improve safety.
Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Instruct and supervise staffs to verify the required inbound/outbound paperwork to ensure that all products are properly counted/picked/packed/handed-over.
Coordinate with contractor to arrange trucking as per needed capacity & frequency to meet customer delivery schedule, including correct paperwork such as invoice, packing list, delivery note, etc.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Rotate product as appropriate.
Assist in maintaining the safety & security of the warehouse.
Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented, and jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
Supervise the warehouse activities and coordinate with SOM to manage the daily operation in all working areas from inbound to outbound and trucking, customs.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

Customer Services Orientation
Good and accurate reporting skills
Good management and leadership skill.
Good communication in Vietnamese, in English is preferable
Hard working, honest and ability to work under pressure

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 03 years of relevant working experience
Logistics / warehouse background is preferable
Graduated from vocational trainings or colleges

Working time: working on shifts 44-48hrs/week
