Warehouse Supervisor

Responsible to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.:
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Other tasks/ projects assigned by Company Managers.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse safety, productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
• Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.

Relevant experience
Educational qualifications: Degree holder in any discipline
• At least 5 years. Minimum 3 years in managerial position.
• Experience with SAP
Personal characteristics & behaviour
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
