Khuyết điểm
- About the career opportunities: that's also because of the fast turnover, so it's only if you're strong and determined enough to survive the points below:
- Terrible work/life balance: OT is a daily thing and even expected by the management during crunch times ("if your team isn't doing OT, then there's something wrong hiding somewhere" kind of thing)
- So much time wasted in political struggles, very carefully choosing each and every word of every emails to make them "management-proof"
- Overly complicated and/or useless processes both locally and from top management
- A real lack of fun: as a gaming company, more time should be spent engaging the employees on a daily basis rather than counting exclusively on the company's annual trip / New Year Party
- Big corporation with so many layers of management that any decision needs to be double-triple-quad confirmed both internally and above
- A real lack of training/workshop: not enough time spent on growing employees and a feeling of being squeezed until we can't take it anymore
- Spend more time/budget training your employees and after that, trust them more -> less time spent micro-managing and double/triple confirming every single of the smallest decisions -> faster operations with lesser costs.
- GL's vision is still way too short term when it comes to employees (having good employees with more than 2 years of "seniority" is almost a rare thing). Training, motivating, trusting, retaining -> build (and keep!) expertise.
- Gameloft's core values are: Excellence, Innovation, Passion, Engagement, Fun. We're unfortunately quite lacking in Fun and Innovation. But we do always strive for Excellence, Engagement and Passion: that's our fuel that keeps us going to work every morning. Let's capitalize on that.
