CoreOne is first and foremost a Danish furniture factory, competitively placed in Vietnam, and supported by a sales office in Denmark. Our success is cultivated by our genuine passion for furniture design, innovation and customer interaction. Our company was founded in 2008, and is anchored in Danish traditions of design, crafts and tradesmanship, bringing Scandinavian designs to our factory in Vietnam and affordable quality furniture onwards to our customers all over the world. When developing products, our focus is to provide solutions that create higher-than-normal turnover per square meter and above-market-margins for our customers. Our daily task is to deliver carefree trade to our customers.

Deliveries are only in full container loads. We manufacture by order, and all our ranges can be mixed. To support our vision of becoming our customers’ most reliable and most committed supplier, and to truly become Best in Class on our customers’ most important parameters, a historic change in CoreOne’s setup was decided in April 2013. We had been a traditional furniture trading organization since our birth in December 2008, but during the second half of 2013, we started transforming our company into being a furniture producer instead.

 

Renting space in one of the best industrial parks, Nam Tanh Uyen, in the traditional furniture area of Binh Duong, to what has now become a 6,000 sqm factory, was the first step. Local authorities and the Danish Embassy made it relatively easy to establish a foreign-owned company, Response Vietnam Co., Ltd, so that contracts could be made. Next step was installing electricity systems, a compressed air system, dust exhaustion, lacquering booths, and a variety of lamination and wood working machines. At the same time we started employing staff, and setting up the operation offices. Today, our factory still employs six merchandisers and technicians in our office in Ho Chi Minh City, and 15 office staff inside the factory premises doing finance and HR work, import and export, planning, purchasing, and technical support to R&D, Health&Safety, and production. 200 production staff forms the core of our business today. Our General Manager in Vietnam is Vietnamese Ms Nguyen Viet Huong, and our Factory Manager is Danish Mr Brian Andersen.

All components of solid wood are produced at our factory’s wood working facility, internally known as RES1, whereas veneered parts, Formica HPL, stainless steel and upholstered components are sourced from our 20+ sub-suppliers. Most recently a 1,000 sqm metal workshop has been added to our facilities, enabling us to manufacture app. 180 tonnes of metal bases and legs for our ranges per annum. A team of external QCs are constantly monitoring production and checking quality at the sub-suppliers before product is allowed to enter our factory. Final sanding, surface treatment, mounting, final quality inspection, and packing are done in what we call RES2; the finishing facility of our factory. CoreOne does not supply any products that have not been finished in our own factory. Response Vietnam Co., Ltd delivers a total production time of 8-10 weeks, and it offers the opportunity to mix all products in the same container – at an MOQ per sku of 48 for chairs and 20 for all other types of product.
