Air Freight Specialist

Audit carrier and broker charges to ensure accuracy and compliance with quoted rates.
Monitor purchase orders (POs) and delivery schedules; prioritize urgent shipments for production or market deadlines.
Monitor air freight costs and market trends; support carrier selection and cost optimization.
Coordinate with carriers, forwarders, customs teams, and vendors to resolve shipment issues.
Process and reconcile freight invoices, billing, and wire payments; coordinate with Accounts Payable.
Track and manage air freight shipments from origin to final destination, ensuring on- time customs clearance and delivery.
Support SOP updates, process improvements, and vendor training when required.
Maintain shipment records and documentation in compliance with customs regulations.
Coordinate LCL and export shipments, including documentation and delivery arrangements.

Qualifications:

From 1 year of relevant office support experience.
Bachelor degree in International Business, Import/Export or equivalent experience.
Excellent English communication (4 skills), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of import logistics, documentation, and customs regulations.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Customer service and professionalism in handling challenging situations.
Analytical and problem- solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
