Android Developer

Optimize app startup speed, memory usage, and rendering performance; improve overall system app fluency and UX.
Develop and maintain Android system applications (Settings, Wallpaper, etc.).
Maintain code quality, participate in code review, and produce relevant technical documentation.
Collaborate with Framework and HAL teams to integrate system- level features and ensure compatibility with platform services.
Participate in requirement analysis for System Apps and AOSP Apps; responsible for architecture design, development, debugging, and feature implementation.
Analyze and resolve application- related issues such as ANR, crash, UI freeze, performance degradation, or behavior changes across Android versions.
Participate in AOSP feature development, customization, and adaptation for different device models and Android versions.

Familiar with Java/Kotlin; proficient in at least one of these languages.
Strong teamwork, communication skills, responsibility, and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
Familiar with Android application architecture, Jetpack components, app lifecycle, rendering pipeline, memory management, and performance optimization.
Understanding of Android system architecture; experience with one or more key modules (ActivityManagerService, WindowManagerService, PackageManager, SurfaceFlinger, Input system) is a plus.
Solid knowledge of data structures, multithreading, IPC, and common performance patterns.
Ability to analyze logs (logcat, systrace/perfetto, dumpsys, ANR traces) to locate and resolve issues efficiently.
Experience developing or customizing AOSP apps (Settings, Wallpaper, etc.) is preferred.
