What is the job?To deliver a seamless, personalized, and engaging first impression experience for walkin and inhouse guests at the Visitor Lounge and Sport Center, ensuring InterContinental brand standards areconsistently upheld while supporting revenue opportunities and guest satisfaction.
Your day to day
Guest Welcome & First Impression
•Warmly welcome walk in guests with professional grooming, eye contact, and brand standardgreetings.
•Serve welcome drinks and cold towels.
•Provide clear and engaging explanations of resort facilities, activities, daycation packages, F&B
venues, and Spa services.
•Ensure guests feel recognized, expected, and genuinely welcomed.
Guest Assistance & Coordination
in inquiries regarding
Handle walk
•Spa bookings
•Resort activities
•Daycation packages
•F&B reservations
Support inhouse guests with Sport Center activity information.
Coordinate buggy transfers to lobby, Spa, restaurants, or other requested areas.
Ensure smooth handover and coordination with Security, Welcome Couple, Guest ExperienceAgents (GEA), and Villa Hosts when required.
Revenue Contribution
•Convert walk in inquiries into confirmed bookings where possible.
•Support F&B reservation KPI and incentive targets.
•Proactively promote resort services and experiences.
Visitor Lounge Standards & Environment
Maintain Visitor Lounge setup according to standards:
Pleasant scent
Updated resort materials (maps, brochures, flyers)
Clean and tidy seating area
AC on and comfortable temperature
Fresh flowers displayed
Ensure the area is always guest ready.
Resort video playing with sound
Service Excellence & Compliance
Support internal audits and quality checks related to arrival experience.
Maintain professional communication during guest handover.
Ensure guests are not kept waiting unnecessarily.
Uphold InterContinental brand values and grooming standards at all times.
Follow SOP guidelines for arrival and departure procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Service oriented mindset with proactive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and storytelling skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience in F&B service, hostess, or guest relations.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate across departments.
• Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred.
• Good English communication skills (additional languages are a plus).
