Assistant R&D Chemist - working at My Phuoc IZ

Work location: My Phuoc 2 Industrial Zone, Ben Cat, HCMC (formerly Binh Duong)- daily shuttle bus service is provided
Job responsibilities:
HSES

Maintain the housekeeping standard of laboratory
Submit required HSES report on monthly basis.
Maintains and promotes a safe work environment, complies with safety policies and procedures.
Follows safe work practices for personal and equipment safety, in both the laboratory and in the field.

Plan and carry out laboratory work for self and chemist/technicians covering a range of technical projects in full compliance with all safety and work processes and procedures

Provide guidance to technicians in colour formula and experiments roll out
Is familiar with and applies relevant experimental, development and/or analytical approaches and techniques
Plan and implement approved formulations roll out into business system
Plan experiments/ experimental arrays for self and technicians to meet given objectives (guidance from Technical Lead)
Identify abnormalities in experimental parameters or result and highlight observed details

Provide technical support to other internal functions such as marketing, sales, operations and procurement.

Conduct bench marking exercise against competitors’ products to check competitiveness of product in market.
Input formulations into Business system- in PV, SAP and update SDS for all products
Provide support to operations/sales /marketing through investigation of formulation shortfall and complaints and proposed process or procedure to address issues
Evaluate test according to both SESA test method and compliance to local standard as required to ensure that our product pass local requirements

Possess good interpersonal skill and ability to communicate clearly and effectively across functions and within department by both Vietnamese and English
BSc in Chemistry or equivalent. Master is a plus
Good project/time management skill.

Good practical, analytical and laboratory skill
Candidates with 1- 2 years of related experience, experience in Chemical industry is preferable
