This role ensures reservation processes follow hotel standards while supporting inventory control and coordinating closely with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams.
The Assistant Reservation Manager is responsible for supervising daily reservation operations to ensure efficient booking management, accuracy, and excellent guest service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reservation Operations Management
Ensure all reservation requests are processed accurately and promptly.
Manage booking confirmations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
Supervise daily reservation activities and monitor reservation queues.
Maintain accurate room inventory updates in the PMS system.
Ensure reservation procedures comply with hotel policies and brand standards.
Guest Service & Booking Quality
Respond to guest inquiries and booking requests professionally and efficiently.
Resolve booking discrepancies and guest concerns related to reservations.
Monitor reservation communication through email, phone, and online channels.
Ensure service excellence and accuracy in reservation handling.
Coordination with Hotel Departments
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, Revenue, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth guest arrivals and room allocation.
Ensure accurate management of group room blocks and release dates.
Support handling of VIP bookings, corporate accounts, and group reservations.
Inventory & Booking Control
Monitor room availability and support revenue strategies through inventory control.
Ensure contract rates and negotiated corporate rates are correctly applied in the system.
Assist in managing allotments and reservation cut- off dates.
Reservation Team Supervision
Ensure compliance with reservation SOPs and operational standards.
Promote upselling techniques to increase room revenue.
Train reservation team members on booking procedures and service standards.
Monitor reservation accuracy and conduct regular audits.
Additional Responsibilities
Support revenue initiatives by maintaining booking accuracy and proper inventory management.
Assist in system transitions and operational improvements during the Prince Hotel Da Nang rebranding phase.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling guest data and booking information.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, or Distribution within international hotels.
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies, forecasting, and hotel reservation systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or related fields.
Required Skills
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced reporting and forecasting skills.
• Strong skills in Excel, Opera PMS, and revenue reporting tools.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• Solid understanding of OTA, GDS, corporate distribution, and digital booking behavior.
• Excellent attention to detail in inventory, rate loading, and reservation accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
• Knowledge of revenue systems (IDeaS, RMS tools) and channel management platforms.
