Job Overview
This role focuses on dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, channel optimization, and performance analysis to ensure the hotel achieves optimal revenue results.
The Assistant Revenue Manager supports the hotel’s revenue management strategy to maximize profitability and optimize inventory distribution.
The Assistant Revenue Manager works closely with the Commercial Director, Sales, Marketing, Front Office, and Global Revenue teams to align strategies with business objectives and brand standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy
Assist in developing and implementing dynamic pricing strategies based on seasonality, events, and demand patterns.
Ensure pricing strategies follow Seibu Prince Global Revenue guidelines.
Support management of rate plans including BAR, Non- refundable, Advance Purchase, Corporate, and Package rates.
Develop promotional strategies aligned with revenue objectives and market demand.
Adjust rates in real time in response to market changes and booking pace.
Support the implementation of RMS tools (IDeaS or equivalent systems).
Monitor competitor rates and conduct rate parity checks across all distribution channels.
Build last- minute and early- bird pricing strategies to capture demand opportunities.
Demand Forecasting & Revenue Analysis
Analyze historical booking data to forecast demand by day, week, month, and quarter.
Support the preparation of the annual revenue budget and monthly reforecast exercises.
Track pickup trends, booking pace, and market demand patterns.
Conduct displacement analysis for group vs FIT business to optimize revenue opportunities.
Incorporate local events, flight capacity, and market intelligence into forecasting models.
Monitor booking patterns by market segment and source market.
Identify high and low demand periods and recommend revenue strategies accordingly.
Channel Optimization & Distribution Management
Support negotiation with OTA partners for promotional visibility and preferred placements.
Apply rate fencing strategies based on channel, booking window, and market segment.
Monitor OTA partner performance including production, ranking, and commission costs.
Ensure correct mapping and rate loading in the channel manager and distribution systems.
Manage inventory distribution across OTA, GDS, direct channels, wholesalers, and corporate accounts.
Adjust room allotments and inventory controls to maximize revenue performance.
Performance Reporting & Market Analysis
Analyze cancellation patterns, length of stay (LOS), and booking lead time trends.
Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly OCC, ADR, RevPAR, and pickup trends.
Track market mix performance and recommend strategies to optimize revenue.
Compare Actual vs Budget vs Last Year performance and analyze variance drivers.
Prepare reports and presentations for monthly Revenue Meetings.
Support STR reporting accuracy and index improvement initiatives.
Conduct rate shopping and competitor benchmarking to maintain competitive positioning.
Strategic Collaboration
Support revenue culture across departments through collaboration and training.
Assist with system transitions and commercial initiatives related to Prince Hotel Da Nang.
Participate in Commercial Strategy Meetings and contribute to revenue planning.
Ensure confidentiality when handling revenue data and pricing strategies.

Qualifications & Experience
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies, forecasting, and hotel reservation systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, or Distribution within international hotels.
Required Skills
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Knowledge of revenue systems (IDeaS, RMS tools) and channel management platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced reporting and forecasting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
• Strong skills in Excel, Opera PMS, and revenue reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of OTA, GDS, corporate distribution, and digital booking behavior.
• Excellent attention to detail in inventory, rate loading, and reservation accuracy.
Experiences
- Minimum 3 years working at senior position.
- Minimum 5 years working in 4 or 5 star hotel.
