Automation QC Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a QC Engineer with strong expertise in automation and AI- driven testing to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building robust test frameworks, embedding quality practices into our CI/CD pipelines, and partnering with cross- functional stakeholders to ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging modern tools – including AI agents – to scale and modernize quality assurance practices.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate with stakeholders and the engineering team to define quality strategies, testing standards, and acceptance criteria across products and platforms.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality checks throughout the development lifecycle.
Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and coverage to keep pace with evolving product and business needs.
Identify defects, risks, and quality gaps early, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and prevent regressions.
Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, leveraging AI agents to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and coverage analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

2+ years of experience in Quality Control, QA, or a related software testing role.
Hands- on experience with automation testing tools across multiple platforms:
Selenium or Playwright for web applications
Appium for mobile applications
Postman for API testing
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar) and experience integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with keen attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects.
Solid programming skills in Python or JavaScript, with the ability to write and maintain automated test scripts.

Nice to have

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience testing cloud- based or distributed systems.
Familiarity with API testing frameworks and practices beyond Postman (e.g., REST Assured, contract testing).
Experience applying AI/ML techniques in testing, such as AI- assisted test generation, self- healing test scripts, or intelligent test prioritization.
