Automation Test Engineer

Job Overview

Design and develop test scripts from manual test cases.
Report testing results, manage and track project defects.
Build and maintain the Automation framework for the project based on the Bank’s Katalon toolset.
Write and update automation testing documents (Test cases, Test scripts, Checklists, Test reports).
Execute functional and non- functional tests using automated scripts.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cross- browser and cross- platform web and mobile testing.
Develop a new Automation framework and reusable common libraries for the project.
Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve automation test quality.
Design, write, and execute test scripts using Katalon along with: Selenium, Gherkin syntax, Postman, Cucumber, Git, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native, RESTful APIs, AWS, Firebase, …
Work within an Agile development process (JIRA).

Requirements

Strong problem- solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Good communication and teamwork, able to work independently.
Experience in web and mobile cross- platform testing.
Hands- on experience with Katalon (preferred) and scripting in Python, JavaScript.
Good understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, ReactJS, React Native.
Solid knowledge of Automation framework design and common library development.
Proficiency in Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, Git, RESTful APIs.
Knowledge and hands- on experience with AWS, Firebase.
