About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our core product team. You’ll work with a fast- moving group of engineers, designers, and business analysts to build scalable backend systems that power our product. Your focus will be backend architecture, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

What You&039;ll Do

Service Development (Python & TypeScript)
- Build and maintain APIs and event- driven services with FastAPI / Encore and Node.js.
Data Engineering
- Model and optimize PostgreSQL databases, implement Row- Level Security, and enforce multi- tenant isolation.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Define infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi.
- Design AWS architectures (ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Cognito, etc.).
CI/CD & Dev Experience
- Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Champion zero- downtime blue- green or canary releases.
Collaboration & Quality
- Participate in design reviews, write clear documentation, and mentor teammates.

Who You Are

- 3+ years building production backends with both
Python
and
TypeScript/Node.js.
- Hands- on experience delivering services in
FastAPI

Encore
- Expertise with
PostgreSQL
, RLS, and multi- tenant designs.
- Proven ownership of AWS infrastructure via
CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi.
- Strong GitHub- based CI/CD skills.
- Clear written and spoken English for architecture discussions.
