Backend Developer (Relocate to Bangkok)

About the Role:
The ideal candidate is passionate about backend architecture, well- versed in modern programming frameworks like Node.js, Java, and PHP (Laravel), and thrives in a collaborative, agile environment
We are looking for a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our fast- growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our products and services. You’ll work closely with cross- functional teams to develop high- performance APIs and services that meet business and user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
- Integrate and manage databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch) and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Collaborate with front- end developers, QA, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high- quality solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using technologies such as Java, Node.js, and PHP (Laravel)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of backend development experience in fast- paced, production- level environments.
- Proficient in Java (Spring Boot, J2EE), Node.js, and PHP (Laravel).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a distributed, multicultural team.
- Hands- on experience with Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Strong problem- solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
