DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Do research on competition.
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for seeking account and targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and develop sales for the hotel.
Establish and continuously update mailing lists.
Prepare detailed introduction induction program for new staff.
Perform any other related tasks or duties assigned by Director of Convention and by Management.
Maximize revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage.
Develop and maintain database of major markets, trace files for direct contact and/or mailings.
Maintain a comprehensive, current and guest focused set of departmental standard and procedure to oversee their implementation.
Assist in producing, implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objective are achieved.
Coach, counsel staff and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Maintain contact with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers, airlines and wholesalers, through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications.
Oversee the selling and servicing of group business.
Maintain close liaison with other departments to ensure the productive departmental performance and budget.
Collect information/ requests from guests and keep the team updated for revision of sales contracts and Banquet Event Orders.
Work collaboratively with off- company sales channels (e.g., Event Booking Center, Market Sales, Strategic Accounts) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
Create and implement special programmers to achieve greater productivity through: increasing average rate/ increasing occupancy/ increasing business volume during difficult periods/ increasing local food and beverage banqueting sales.
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, etc.
Coordinate Banquet Operations team and Banquet Kicthen to ensure service is fully delivered to guests of wedding events or conventions.
Present products and show the guests around the venues upon request.
Meet with guests from major producers / organizers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction.
Yêu cầu công việc
Degree in Sales and Marketing or Hotel Management or Mass Communications or equivalent.
Comprehensive knowledge of off- site catering and event operations.
Proven experience with developing sales goals and objectives.
At least three years in the hotel industry with three years or more as a Convention Sales Executive in a high volume luxury hotels or equivalent.
Good command of English and Vietnamese.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends; willingness to travel.
